Bone Fine China

Bone china is most thin, most lighting, most delicious and most artistic china ever produced. Its name originate from Bone calcine used to produce such china.

It is known that first porcelain was imported from China. China kept the secret of producing China under great secret, that is why it was valued "by the weight of Gold" at Europe.

But, at the beginning of 18thcentury secret of producing China was founded at Saxonia. At 1744 at St. Petersburg Russia the same secret was founded independently at Royal court porcelain manufacture (lomonosov nowadays) .
Russian porcelain was different, same quality as Saxonian one, but more closely related with official China made porcelain by its chemical content.

At the end of 18th - beginning of the 19th century Russian Royal porcelain was known as the best one in Europe.

Bone china secret was initially developed at England at 19th century, that is why it is named sometimes Royal or English Fine China.

Russian Royal porcelain manufacture (lomonosov factory) developed its own technology to produce Bone Fine China. Lomonosov bone fine china is more thin and it sounds other way than English made one.
